Online Readiness Survey

 

  1. Do you know how to attach and receive attached files in an email message?
  2. Do you know how to "paste" text from a word processor into an email message or other documents?
  3. Can you run software applications you need to use on a computer? Microsoft Word and PowerPoint are examples of applications often used in an online course.
  4. Can you create files, save files, and manage files on your computer?
  5. Can you install software such as web browsers or plug-ins?
  6. Can you download software?
  7. Have you participated in online discussions, blogs, or other similar forums?

  8. Do you work well without direct supervision?
  9. Do you consider yourself to be disciplined and self-motivated?
  10. Do you set priorities for yourself in completing your work?
  11. Do you have trouble following written directions?
  12. Do you get anxious when you have to do something new on the computer?
  13. Do you think you'll need the same amount of time studying for an online course as you would for a traditional course?
  14. Do you think you'll spend less time studying for your online course?
