This workshop is cancelled due to low enrollment.
The Center for Instructional Technology is offering the workshop, “Working With Your Faculty Web Site” The workshop will be a two hour hands-on orientation to using your new faculty web sites.
This workshop will cover:
- An overview of WordPress ( the software that drives this new web site).
- The possibilities
- The navigational structure of your site
- The basic administration of your site, including:
- Adding pages
- Editing pages
- Adding images
- Removing content

All participants in this workshop must log on as administrator, and explore their dashboard (the editing interface) before attending the workshop. If you plan to attend, please make sure that you have read the previous emails sent to you about the new faculty sites, and have logged in as administrator and explored your site.
* If you would like to have a faculty web site and attend this workshop, you must first send an email to helpdesk@necc.mass.edu and request a faculty web site. Once your site is created, you will receive an email with instructions on how to log in to your site. At that point, you will follow the instructions from the above paragraph.
