Jody and Sue presented on Motivating Faculty to Adopt Open at the Open Ed Conference back in November in Vancouver. The presentation was very well received and we had many requests for a link to our faculty video – including requests from OpenStax and Lumen Learning (2 leaders in the OER movement)! Hear what your colleagues have to say about their experiences with adopting OER:
Having faculty support is critical to the success of this project. The cost savings to students is very impressive (a cumulative $440,000+ projected savings for Spring semester), but what is more impressive is the work that our faculty have done to adopt, adapt, and create amazing resources for their courses that is changing the way they teach and the way students are learning!.
CIT is collaborating with Academic Innovations to offer workshops on weatherproofing your courses! Don’t let the weather get in the way of student learning. Visit our Weatherproofing page for some helpful tips to keep your course going even when the school is closed.
