iTEACH

iTEACH

Criteria:

  • iTEACH will include a maximum of 8 participants and all full-time and part-time faculty members are invited to apply.
  • Priority will be given to faculty who will be teaching their course online in the 2009-2010 semesters.
  • There is a participant stipend of $500.00 payable after the completion of iTEACH and submission of a final report evaluating the program.

Upon acceptance of your application, you will need to come to the CIT lab to complete a Computer Skills Inventory to determine your level of computer literacy. In some cases, participants will need to work with a CIT Staff Member to attain the skills necessary prior to participating in the program. You will find that the more skills you have, the more comfortable you will be teaching online, and the better instructor you can be for your students.

Proficiency in the following is a pre-requisite to begin the training. Please click on any of the links below for a quick tutorial/refresher on each topic:

Applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis with a priority for participants approved to teach online. Please Click Here to apply electronically. The application deadline date is Monday, December 1, 2008.

Review of applications will be held on Wednesday, December 3, 2008. Following the review meeting, applicants will be informed of their project status.

This project is supported by the Office of Faculty and Staff Development.
