Each year approximately four (4) faculty (full-time and part-time) are nominated to receive NISOD Excellence Awards.

Faculty are provided the opportunity to attend the national Conference in Austin, Texas in May, where they are awarded a Certificate of Excellence as well as a medallion for their effort and dedication to their profession.

Faculty are supported by the Office of Faculty & Staff Development to attend the NISOD conference.
