Campus Safety:
Handling Potentially Disruptive Students
A Workshop for Front-Line Staff

3:30-4:30, TC-103A, Haverhill Campus

This workshop will be presented by Colleen Mills, M.A., CRC, and will incorporate the following:

  • Identifying the 3 levels of escalation
  • Recognizing signs of disruptive behavior
  • When to intervene and how
  • When not to intervene and what to do
  • Questions and answers

Biography of Colleen Mills, M.A., CRC:

Colleen graduated from Assumption College with a Master’s Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling. Colleen has worked as an outreach clinician at South Bay Mental Health for over four years. She has several years of supervisory experience and is currently the Clinic Director for the Lawrence site. Colleen has experience working with clients in crisis and assists in managing the agency’s on-call crisis team. Colleen has worked in groups on anger management, attended trainings on anger, and has experience training professionals.
