The electronic application to develop an online course is available to faculty that have been assigned by their department. The Director of Instructional Technology and Online Learning grants access to the form to the individuals that are part of the signature process, which includes the department chair and assistant dean or dean of the area. The form is divided into sections with helpful icons that are bookmarked to parts that correlate to NECC’s Distance Education Agreement. After the faculty member completes and saves the form, he or she contacts the Director in order to assign the form to the designated that will sign the form.
